The Animation Industry: Preparing for a Career
20/01/25 - 08/05/25
Introduction
This page serves as a contents page that links to all the work produced for this module focussed on preparing for a career in the industry! There were 2 assignments one focussed on writing an academic essay to exploring an issue affecting the industry and a practical assignment to keep a blog and write a summary report documenting my exploration and practical developments to prepare for a career in the industry. For the academic essay I analysed the audience backlash from the use of AI in Marvel's Secret Invasion opening title sequence and explored the ethical issues surrounding AI and how it could affect the future of the industry. The development blog posts explore my research and exploration of plans for my career developments. This includes analysing potential job roles and employers alongside the development of assets used to apply for jobs and present myself professionally online.
